Existential depression

What helps?

Webb’s answer was surprisingly physical: touch, a hand on the shoulder, and one person who takes the questions seriously instead of trying to fix them. Meaning gets made, not found, so act on something you care about, at whatever scale is possible today. Existential therapy meets the questions instead of pathologizing them. Dąbrowski went further and called some of this collapse positive disintegration: the old self breaking so a truer one can form.
