OSDD-1
What actually helps?
Phase-oriented therapy, in this order: 1. safety and stabilization (sleep, grounding, getting parts to cooperate instead of fight); 2. processing traumatic memory, once there’s enough ground to stand on; 3. integration, or a working peace among parts. Going for the memories first tends to make people worse. The clinician needs to know dissociation, and many don’t.
